Explore possibilities with color. Trust your intuition as you respond to what you see and feel. Color is personal. Re-enforce your understanding of the power of color. Sometimes delicate, sometimes bold. A few theories and properties can be helpful. Observe arrangements of winter weeds and blooming bunches. Follow a few prompts to paint color combinations that appeal to you.
MATERIALS: Bring what you own: Watercolor paper & journal for practice and notes - Brushes - Waterproof Pen (Micron works well) - Watercolors basic small palette - Water container with lid (Nalgene at REI is perfect) - Water spray is helpful.
We will provide: Plastic palette for mixing - papers for projects - A few paints and brushes to share with those who need them.
COST: $90 for a three-hour class.
